HEADBOARD & FOOTBOARD SHOPPING TIPS
When shopping for a headboard and footboard set you should consider the styles and colors in your bedroom and how the bed will compliment your existing decor. In addition to choosing a size such as queen or king, you also need to think about the height of the headboard and footboard. If the scale of the bed is too large or too small for the room it will look out of place. The construction should be solid and the headboard and footboard shouldn't easily rock back and forth when attached to the beds frame. The bed frame should be strong and have at least one center support post that touches the floor to keep your mattress set from breaking down. You should also consider the height of the mattress sleep set you plan on using with this bed and measure this height from where it rests on the frame to where it comes up on both the headboard and footboard. If the mattress set sits too high or too low it can make the bed look unbalanced and awkward.
