LINEN & BED SHEET SHOPPING TIPS
When shopping for bed linens and sheet sets we suggest purchasing a least two sets for each bed in your home. This way you always have another set ready if needed. Whether you're shopping for king, queen, full, or twin size sheets, look at the thread count and fabric before you buy. Thread count refers to the number of threads per square inch, which determines the quality of a sheet. As a general rule, sheets with higher thread counts of 200 and above will hold up better and last longer than lower thread count sheets. To get properly fitting sheets, look at the pocket depth and elasticity. To determine your beds pocket depth, simply measure from the highest point of your mattress including any under bedding such as a mattress pad, to the bottom edge of your mattress. Also, better quality fitted sheets should have elastic all the way around the sheet. Sheets that only have elastic at the head and foot are more likely to slip off of your mattress.
