Sofa Sleeper Shopping Tips

When shopping for a sleeper sofa you need to consider how it will compliment the other decor in the area you plan on placing it. Sleepers are available in sizes including twin, full and queen. Therefore, you should think about which size will work best for your needs. Also, think about who will be using it and whether it will be used by a single person or a couple. Check for comfort; as a rule sleeper sofas will sit firmer than a standard sofa. However, it should still be comfortable for for sitting. Pull out the bed of the sofa sleeper and it should pull up and out smoothly; if not keep looking. You should check that the steel tubing for the bed's frame is of a larger diameter for adequate strength, and that the sleeper mechanism is bolted in place, not just screwed in. As for the mattress, it should be a coiled innerspring model, not all foam. The "all foam" mattresses should be strictly avoided since they provide little support and become uncomfortable very quickly.
