WALL MIRROR SHOPPING TIPS
When shopping for a wall mirror consider how its style and
framing will compliment your other decor. Wall mirrors are available in a
wide selection of sizes and shapes, so finding the right one should be easy.
You want to consider both the quality of the glass and the framework. Before
you buy a mirror, it's a good idea to actually look at your reflection in
the glass to see if it's distorted. An easy way to check the quality of the
mirror is to move a bit while looking at it to see if you get a distorted
funhouse mirror effect. Also, look at things that are in the distance in the
mirror's reflection to see how sharp the reflection is. Another trick is to
look at a piece of metal jewelry in the mirror, such as a watch or ring; if
the image of the jewelry doubles the quality of the mirror isn't that great.
You should also check to see how the mirror is set up to hang on the wall,
and if it includes everything you need for hanging once you get it home.
